Navel

There are many varieties in Tunisia such as the Washington Navels, Thomson Navel, Newhall, Navelina, Navelate, Lane Late etc.
Practically seedless, the navels have a spherical fruit (150g), thin-skinned, thick, smooth shiny, orange-colored terminating in a navel at the apical end. The flesh is crunchy and very juicy with exceptional taste qualities. Navels are very early oranges harvested in early October and extended until the end of May.
