Blums
It is a stone fruit (botanically, it is a drupe), thin-skinned, even transparent in some varieties, with sweet and juicy flesh. Its shape is generally spherical, more or less oblong, its color varies from light yellow to dark violet (plum color). Plum is often seen in a white or translucent veil that reflects light. This is the "pruine". They are wax sequins that the fruit produces to protect against external aggressions, especially heat. Its presence is therefore a sign of quality. But, some species of plums do not.
